This is a fun little marketing story. Congregational & General Insurance has launched the first-ever competition to find the best piece of church poster advertising in the UK. The winning entry will be judged by a panel of copywriters and the General Secretary of Churches and the creator of the chosen headline will receive £500 for a chosen church or charity.
The competition closes on 31 May and examples of fomer church poster headlines include:
‘God, you’re great’
‘Rooney shoots but Jesus saves’
‘Seven days without prayer makes one weak’
