Michelin doesn’t tyre of brand mascot ad campaign

The Michelin man is appearing in a new set of ads which can be seen on the side of lorries trundling up and down UK roads to deliver tyres. The initiative is designed to complement the return of the Michelin man to television advertising after a survey last year for the brand indicated that 83% of people in the UK recognise the rotund white brand mascot (see below for picture).

It is certainly nice to see that in the obesity-obsessed marketing climate, the Michelin man still wears his spare tires with pride.
