Offsetting infidelity – the latest guilt-relieving idea?

Global warming is very much the hot business topic at the moment with companies promising all sorts of offsetting tariffs on flights, car journeys or electricity bills to assuage our collective guilt about destroying the habitat of polar bears.

In the spirit of this, one website has emerged. Named ‘CheatNetural’, it claims to offset infidelity for consumers. Now, it freely admits to being a joke but makes the serious point that ‘carbon offsetting is a joke too’.
